Barbara Lorraine Robinson was born 5 February 1966 to Robert Alan Robinson and Leah Rose Harding Robinson in Riverside California.
She lived the life of the youngest child in a blended family. She grew up with her siblings, John, Robert, Donald, and Donna Brandt. Barbara knew her brother William F Robinson who was 16 years younger and only learned in the last years about three older half siblings Diane, Robert and Michael Robinson.
Barbara's father was in the Air Force and the family was stationed in the Philippines when Barbara was very young. While there her parents separated and the family returned to Riverside. Barbara and the Brandt siblings were raised by her single mother. She maintained a close relationship with her Grandmother Alma Robinson who loved and cherished Barbara and encouraged her in her pursuits of family history. As a pre teen in Riverside CA she established two friendships that would last her entire life. Shannon and Kim are her soulmates, her dream team, her heroines.
It was Daniel Patrick Adams who captured her heart and they were married in Las Vegas, NV on 17 May 1997. Love celebrated in the Little Blue Wedding Chapel, just the two of them and all their dreams.
Together they owned D and B Adams Trucking. They traveled coast to coast throughout the lower 48 states. Barbara was able to pursue her love of family history stopping at cemeteries searching the headstones for family names.
Pat and Barbara settled in Winnemucca in 2019 after living in Battle Mountain and Yearington, NV. Barbara worked many places as a home health aid, at the Humboldt General Hospital in food services, and at several grocery stores as a clerk and cashier. She also proudly stated that she had her CDL and she knew how to drive an 18 wheeler.
Barbara continued to search for Heavenly and earthly connections. Always looking for truth and her Robinson family. She searched faithfully for Leah Rose, a daughter born in 1983. Young Barbara choose adoption for Leah Rose placing her with Butch and Susan in a California closed adoption.
Barbara was a collector of people. She loved freely and accepted everyone as a child of God. She especially loved her Winnemucca 3rd Ward family and the young missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With much respect and affection she named them the Golden Girls, Silver Sisters, Sunshine Girls and Bronze Boys. She was learning and growing in her knowledge of God's plan and working toward her baptism day.
Health issues overcame Barbara. She struggled holding on to care for her faithful pup April May. But her strength left her and she returned to her heavenly home 25 Mar 2026. Just in time to join her beloved Pat on his birthday 28 Mar.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, half brothers Donny and Bob Brandt, Robert , Michael Robinson, and half sister Diane Robinson.
She is survived by siblings William F Robinson, Highland CA : Donna Peet, Yuma, AZ; and John A. Brandt, Washington. Also survived by first cousins Karen Thompson, Susan Jense and Mark Robinson. She has a treasure chest full of friends who she has chosen to love as family. These include the members of the Winnemucca 3rd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Shannon, Kim, Mike, Marandia, Doug, Angel, Victor, José Andrea, Lillian, Cindy, Lex, Ninja and Darwin and so many more.
We are especially thankful for the Doctors and staff at Humboldt General Hospital and the care they provided Barbara these past years.
