Kristi Gross-Tillema Obituary
49 year old, Kristi A Gross-Tillema, of Sumava Resorts, passed away on July 17, 2025.
On June 14, 1976, Kristi was born to Thomas and Cheryl (Bales) Gross, in Valparaiso, Indiana. She graduated from Hebron High School, class of 1994. Kristi was a helper, always taking care of everyone. She was a care giver for her community, who was always volunteering to help make it better. Kristi enjoyed being on the water, either floating down the river or fishing, and she loved taking her dog, Lily, on walks. Kristi’s greatest pride and joy in life were her children, she would always talk about them with everyone.
Kristi is survived by her family, children: Dakota Tillema, Noah (Savannah Mares) Tillema, Avery (Beau) Dvorak, Degan (Kenzie Rich) Lahm, fiancé: Adam Lahm, parents: Thomas (Cheryl) Gross, sister: Dawn (Michael) Syrovatka, and her fur baby: Lily.
Kristi was preceded in death by her grandparents: Thomas (Joyce) Gross, and Donald (Phyllis) Bales.
Per Kristi’s wishes cremation will take place.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Sumava Improvement Club, 2457 1150 N, Sumava Resorts, IN 46379.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
