Kristin Michelle Sidders, 37, of Urbana, Ohio, formally from Middleburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on December 6, 2025, following complications from Stage 4 colon cancer, that she fought so bravely for a year.

She was born on June 23, 1988, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the beloved daughter of Richard (Ric) A. and Michelle L. Sidders.

Kristin was preceded in death by her Pop Pop, Mervin L. Martin; her Nanny, JoAnn F. Martin; her grandmother, Evelyn M. Sidders; and her grandfather, Charles L. Sidders.

Kristin was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Tori, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. The world is a much dimmer place without her light; she and Tori were truly inseparable. She leaves us with countless memories—captured not only in our hearts but in the many photos she took, as photography was one of her greatest joys.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Tori M-L Sidders; her parents, Richard (Ric) A. and Michelle L. Sidders; and her brothers, Ryan M. (Paige) Sidders and Conner K. Sidders. The two that gave her the title of Aunt, her niece, Charlotte A.M. (“Charlie”) Sidders, and nephew, Benjamin L. (“Benny”) Sidders.

Kristin is also survived by her Aunt Lainie, Joyce E. (David) Elliott, with whom she shared a birthday, and their five children; her Uncle Michael A. (Brandy) Martin and their three children; Uncle Kenneth E. Sidders; Aunt Tamera J. (Rick) Ramey and her two children, especially her cousin, William King and his family; Uncle Timothy W. (Kim) Sidders, SR., and their five children; and Aunt Brenda J. Johnson. She also leaves behind many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. I would be here for days naming all of her friends that in someway touched her life.

Kristin treasured her lifelong friends Cynthia Penna, and her second mom Sarah; Elisha Poling and her second mom Momma Ruth; and Erica Bacher —all of whom brought her comfort, strength, and joy. She also leaves behind her beloved pets—cats Little Bear and Shadow, and dogs Buck and Jax—her loyal companions.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Urbana Cancer Center, especially her cherished doctor, Dr. Bo, the entire office staff, her nurse Melinda, and Mr. Dave, whom she loved talking with during her chemotherapy sessions. He always made her eat something out of the snack basket or he would go get her a ham, cheese and mayo sandwich. They cared for Kristin not just as a patient, but as family.

Following her wishes, she was cremated, and there will be no public service, but family and friends are invited to remember/celebrate her life in their own way.

The family would also like to thank everyone who reached out by phone, text, or Facebook. Every message, post, and condolence has been read and deeply appreciated.
