Kristin Marie Spinner, known affectionately as Kristy or "Za Baby" to her friends and loved ones, completed her earthly journey and ascended to her heavenly home on July 20, 2025. Born on the sunny morning of June 6, 1970, in the bustling city of Los Angeles, California, Kristy's life was a testament to love, dedication, and faith.

Kristy's family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was the cherished daughter of Paul and Mary Spinner, the adored sister of Steve Spinner, and a beloved sister-in-law to Heidi Spinner. Her nieces, Claire, Holly, and Erin Spinner were the light of her life, and she shared with them her love for life's simple pleasures. Kristy's journey was made brighter by the paws and unconditional love of her pets, Cowboy, who had previously crossed the rainbow bridge, and Dustie, her sweet and loyal companion.

Her academic achievements were impressive, with a foundation built at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Psychology. Kristy's pursuit of excellence led her to Purdue University, where she obtained a Master's in Human Resources. Over 31 years, Kristy dedicated her professional life to Northrop Grumman, where she served with distinction in various roles within Corporate Human Resources. Her intelligence and thoughtfulness were the hallmarks of her career, earning her the respect and admiration of all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Kristy's interests were a tapestry of joy and fellowship. She relished in the camaraderie of day trips to the casino and was a fervent supporter of Dodger baseball, both attending games and cheering from afar. Her playful spirit will be remembered by those who shared in the delight of watching her play with her beloved dogs, Cowboy and Dustie.

In the words of the great poet Emily Dickinson, "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Kristy's loving nature ensured that her memory would be etched in the hearts of those she touched forever. She was a beacon of light, guiding with her intelligence and nurturing with her thoughtfulness.

Though Kristy's physical presence is no longer among us, her spirit continues to inspire. Her life was a reflection of her beliefs full of passion, purpose, and the love of Christ. As we celebrate Kristy's journey, we are reminded of the blessed assurance that this is not farewell, but a temporary parting until we meet again in the presence of our Lord.

Let us hold dear the memory of Kristin Marie Spinner, a woman of virtue and grace, whose life was a beautiful sonnet in the great poem of humanity. May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
