Kristy Lee Hooper, 66, of Zanesville formerly of McConnelsville passed away surrounded by her family Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born July 16, 1959, in Zanesville, to Tommy Lawrence and Marilyn Sidwell Milner. She was a graduate of Crooksville High School and worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant for Appletree Assisted Living in Beverly, Ohio. She enjoyed visiting with family, listening to music especially the band "Up to No Good", and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes Football team.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children: Kaci (Bird McDonald) Hooper, Jeremy (Lindsey Opp) Hooper and Kara Hooper; siblings: Kathy (Terry) Robison, Kim (Gene) McGrew, Steve Winland, Tracie (Tom) Coffey, Janeen (Casey) Baker, Terry Lawrence, Matt Lawrence and Abbey (Levi) Clawson; grandchildren: Arcadia Miller, Kyler Hooper, Karley Roberts, Khloe Hooper, Karson Michael, Willow Hooper, and Elora Hooper, a great grand-daughter Brynlee, several nieces and nephews; her loving companion, her dog Beamie; and her very good friend Wilma Riley.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Otis and Evelyn Sidwell and Helen Robinson; and a sister Tricia Lawrence.

Visitation will be from 2-6pm on Friday, October 10 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will follow at 6pm in The Snouffer Chapel with Father Benjamin Johnson officiating. Cremation Care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
