Krystyna Sherrer, born on January 22, 1985, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on
March 8, 2025, while hiking with friends. She was raised in Montana and later moved to Idaho at
the age of 13. Although she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she had Jesus as
her Savior.
Krystyna had a love for the outdoors, especially hiking, mountain climbing, dirt biking, hot
springing, and hunting. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, and was known for her
sharp mind and competitive spirit, often winning at games. Most of all, she cherished spending
time with her friends and family, having Bible studies, and being close to nature.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Colt Sherrer; her three children, Rose
(Shawn) Meyer, Kalub, and Gabryel Sherrer; her mother, Kathy (Greg) Johnson; her bonus
mothers and mentors, Teresa and Debbie; her siblings, Bridget, Katie, Jenni, Shawna, Heather,
and Hank; and many spiritual siblings and dear friends.
Krystyna was passionate about sharing her knowledge and wisdom. She dedicated herself to
being the best version of the woman God called her to be. She homeschooled her children and
worked alongside Colt to build Mt. View Welding. Her medical career began by caring for her
children. Her desire to grow and learn led her to become an EMT in Elk City and later earn her
RN. She loved to work in OB and Hospice, where her compassionate care helped many.
Krystyna eventually moved into an administrative role at Syringa Hospital.
A highlight of her life was a mission trip to Brazil, where she shared her medical skills and
encouraged others to experience new cultures and spread God's love.
Krystyna was laid to rest at Mt. Idaho Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at Grangeville
Christian Church on April 12, 2025 at Noon. Please join us as we share stories and memories of
Krystyna. Her impact on our lives was profound, and in her 40 years, she left a legacy that will
continue to bless and inspire us all.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville. Send condolences to the family to blackmerfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sherrer Family Fund at P1FCU. In honor of
