WEGENER - Kurt Allen Wegener, age 72 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with Rev. Tommy Scoggins officiating. A Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Kurt worked for 29 years with Gwinnett County as Manager in the Water and Sewerage Department before retiring. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles. He attended Bold Springs Church. His grandchildren were the joy of his life. Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Wegener and mother, Doris Charlton. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Nichole McPherson; sisters, Patrice (Ray) Brittain; and Diana (Mark) Millwood; grandchildren Brayllen Paille and Kinsley McPherson; with three nieces and one nephew.
