Jimmy Emmett Bolt 1940 – 2025 – Celebrating a life so very well lived –
Loved greatly by his wife Mary Ann Bolt (Snellville, GA) and his children, who wanted to share a few thoughts about their father:
Jeanne & Tom Young & Family (Sharpsburg, GA) – You have taught me that love is Timeless Daddy! That respect will go a very long way and to be kind and helpful to all as we never know their circumstances! Your hugs were my safe place! "In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time" – Titus 1:2
Jimmy & Debi Bolt & Family (Mogadore, OH) – Dad was a wonderful father and loved by all. I am the man I am because of him and could not have asked for more. Until we meet again buddy boy!!
Karen & Rob Jones & Family (Afton, TN) - Was there ever a time the little red sled didn't pull in to support any of us? In every celebration, trial, or project, it all came with a hug, blue cooler & travel mug! Thank you, Daddy, for teaching me to love deeply, keep family first, be loyal, show dedication, have integrity, serve continually, cultivate relationships – and never hang up without saying I love you! You've left nothing unsaid or undone – go enjoy the "Sunshine on Your Shoulders" with Jesus!
Michael & Karin Bolt & Family (Sharon, MA) - As I sat with my Dad and knew he was near the end, the thought of Ancient Greek ideals came to mind. Concepts like Andreia – courage in life and battle; Eunoia – Kindness and noble intent; Dikaiosyne – Justice and fairness toward others; Filotimo – Deep sense of honor, dignity and moral responsibility, stoic endurance, and probably the side most people saw, Filoxenia – warmth and generosity toward guests and others. I'm amazed at the man he was to the world.
Anne & George Lang & Family (Dallas, GA) – My Dad was both fiercely protective and deeply loving – always – always ready to fix anything, anytime. He loved with his whole heart and never held back his pride in us – his kids, our spouses, his grandkids and great-grandkids. We also knew how proud he was – we always felt his love.
Amy & Scott Miller & Family (Memphis, TN) – Dad always kissed us goodbye before he left in the morning, and when we were no longer living at home, he always requested we would call to let him know we made it home safely. His love was big and was an example to me of our Father's great love "Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 8:39
Mary & Sam Bunn & Family (Pasadena, MD) – He loved hard, and he worked hard – only and always to provide for the ones he loved. I am thankful for his never-wavering support and love.
Jim lived the true definition of a rich man - whether his pockets were empty or full, his arms were filled with his treasures - his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Welcome Home to Heaven...
The family appreciates all the love and support of family & friends in this season and while there is no service planned currently, in celebration of Jim's generosity and servant's heart – you're welcome to follow his lead and can do so in his honor at https://www.127legacy.com/
