Kyle D. Ollmann, of Springfield, formerly of Quincy, died suddenly on June 10, 2024. He was 23 years old.
Beloved son of Kathleen (Noonan) Ollmann and Mark Ollmann of Quincy. Devoted brother of Conor and Jake Ollmann, both of Quincy. Grandson of Mary Jo Noonan and the late David Noonan, Sylvia Ollmann & late Rudolf Ollmann. Beloved nephew of Margaret Noonan, John Noonan and his wife Zita, Susanne Ollmann, Lisa Mair & Glen Mair. Cherished cousin Rachael & William Mair & Elise Ollmann. Kyle is also lovingly survived by many devoted friends and extended family, especially his lifelong friend, Eoin Varden of Quincy.
A lifelong resident of Quincy Kyle was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 2019.
Kyle's family was extremely proud of him to have bought his first house at 22 years old after all his hardships and be a landlord. He worked at UMass Amherst in the Maintenance Dept and was excited to explore and embark on a new career in HVAC. He was proud and would joke that he never missed a day yet.
Kyles adventures with his friends took him all over the country. He loved to hike and had reached the summit of multiple mountains in New England including Mt. Washington, Mt. Katahdin, Mt. Moosilauke and Mt. Marcy. One of his local favorites was Rattlesnake Hill in the Blue Hills, which he hiked hundreds of times.
He loved to travel and attend concerts with his friends all over the country. He had recently traveled to Las Vegas and his next adventure was going to be Yellowstone National Park. He had a new passion for wood carving, was an avid reader and history buff and he enjoyed philosophical books. He was a smart, kind, loving, funny and polite young man. Kyle will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved him.
Kyle was a devoted friend, son, cousin and nephew, but especially devoted big brother to Conor and Jake. Everyone who met Kyle loved him and enjoyed his sense of humor and personality. Words can not express how much he was loved by so many people. His family is heartbroken by his untimely death but know he will live on in our hearts. They are also extremely overwhelmed by the amount of love and support that has been shown to their family during this unspeakable tragedy and it is comforting to know how many people truly loved Kyle as much as we did.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday June 18th at 10:30 AM in Divine Mercy Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, Quincy.

I worked with Kyle at Encompass, and what stuck out to me was how respectful he always was. I always invited him to my 4th of July parties, but he always had some trip planned and couldn´t attend. He always fixed everyone´s problems and did it with no complaints. I was truly shocked and saddened to hear the news of his passing. May you all find comfort within your family and fond memories of Kyle. Rest In Peace.

Kyle was such a pleasure to know. I worked with him at Encompass Health. He had an infectious smile and laugh. He will be missed all those he has touched.

I am so sorry to hear about Kyle. We met in a Fellowship, and saw each other on a weekly basis. At the meetings he was a welcoming presence and most nights, he drank a quart of milk during the meeting. Occasionally we saw each other in the local YMCA and talked our progress in the gym or lack thereof. My memories of him are of polite, kind and gentle young man. Our meeting tonight was saddened by the news as many of us knew him. Rest in Peace.
