Funeral services for Kyndal Klaire Vidrine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Christ Church, Oakdale, with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Kyndal, 13, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece. Kyndal was a champion for the underdog, always defending the ones who couldn't defend themselves. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She carried her feisty, sassy, spunky, attitude everywhere she went and lit up a room as soon as she walked in the door. She had a great love for God and strived never to judge and always to do the right thing. She was an extreme animal lover and had a passion for softball that she left on the field with every game. Her family was her heart and her sister, who was also her best friend, was her heartbeat. Though her time was far too short, Kyndal made every moment count, living her life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, teammates, and everyone else who was blessed to cross her path. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jimmy Vidrine, Sr.; her maternal grandmother, Tammy McDaniel; and one uncle, Edwin "Bubba" McDaniel.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her father, Jimmy "Jim" Michael Vidrine, II of Oakdale; her mother, Summer Suzanne McDaniel of Oakdale; one sister, Kamryn Vidrine of Oakdale; her paternal grandmother, Debbie Vidrine of Oakdale; her maternal grandfather, Delford McDaniel of Plainview; her paternal grandmother, Trish Vidrine of Oakdale; her maternal great grandmother, Sybil Cole of Oakdale; four uncles, Michael Vidrine (Presley) of Oakdale, David Vidrine (Melissa) of Oakdale, Dustin Friday (Candice) of Oakdale, and Jackson McDaniel of Plainview; and two aunts, Meredith Guillory (Michael) of Oakdale, and Lindsie Vidrine of Shreveport.
A time of visitation will be held at Christ Church, Oakdale, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Michael Vidrine, David Vidrine, Jackson McDaniel, Kyle McDaniel, Jacob Yancey, and Daylon James. Honorary pallbearer will be Spencer Eaves.
