Lana D. Snyder

Lana D. Snyder, 81, of Wilkshire Hills, Bolivar for the past 50 years, passed away in her home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Born March 26, 1943 in Mansfield, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Avalon (Austen) Pickworth. She was a 1961 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and for many years attended Bolivar United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a homemaker and a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. In addition to singing, she enjoyed baking and was a voracious reader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Franklin Snyder. She is survived by her four daughters Michelle (Juan) Belmonte of Mays Landing, New Jersey, Stephanie (Terry) Brinkman of Wilkshire Hills, Bolivar, Susan (James) Rodehaver of Bangkok, Thailand and Melissa (Robb Zickel) Snyder of Newcomerstown; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister Sondra Zerby of Toledo. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters Karen Mercer and Carol Blackstone. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bolivar United Methodist Church in Bolivar with Rev. Tom Fish officiating followed by a luncheon in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville, Ohio.
