Born on December 4, 2004 to Michael Cain and April Cain in Jacksonville, Florida at UF Health Shands Hospital, Landon brought joy from the beginning. He loved the outdoors, and going on adventures with his mom and sister. Landon had a deep appreciation for family and friends; he was working toward a future full of opportunity. He had the sweetest smile and most loving eyes and brought a light of compassion and empathy to this world.
Landon was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cain; uncle, Brian Cain; and grandfather, Cecil Carter. The loss of Landon's father at a young age provided him with a lens of softness, forgiveness and love toward people. He was kind, hardworking, bright and loved his family.
Landon was a cherished son, grandson and devoted brother, survived by his loving mother, April Cain; his sister, Audrey Cain; grandmother, Tonda Carter; grandfather, Ferrell Cain; grandmother, Linda Cain; aunt, Amy Carter; uncle, Alex Carter; cousins, Allie, Grayson and Tasha; and many, many family and friends.
Landon's absence leaves an ache that words cannot describe, but his spirit will remain a guiding light to all who knew him. In a world desperate for good souls that leave great imprint, Landon was a perfect example of how a young man can do life well. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A Celebration of Landon's life will be held at Patterson Cremation and Funeral Service, 6615 Arlington
Expressway, Jacksonville, Florida on August 13, 2025 at 3:00 pm. Visitation with family and friends will be from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the Celebration of Life.
A gathering of Landon's family and friends will take place at April Cain's residence following the service.
Landon will always be remembered as a good son, brother and grandson.
