Lanice Rae "Lannie" Hall, age 86, a lifelong resident of Alma passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at her home with family by her side. She was born April 30, 1938, in Alma, the daughter of Charles "Wayne" and Lillace (LaPaugh) Anderson.
Lanice worked for Total Petroleum in Alma in the Payroll department and retired in 2017 after over 30 years of service to the company. Her greatest pride was being a devoted mother to her sons and especially loved time spent with her grandchildren. Lanice will fondly and forever be remembered for her positive attitude and her favorite says, "Don't worry be happy," "If it's to be it's up to me," "Make it a great day," and "Have fun."
Lanice is survived by her sons Tim, Robert, David, Doug (Shannon) Hall; grandchildren Leo, Tara, Steven, Ellyanne, Scott, Meredith; her siblings Cheri Yost, Chuck (Judy) Anderson, Hans (Julie) Anderson; sister-in-law Dorothy Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Tom Hall; her parents and siblings David and John Anderson, Christine Veenema.
A Celebration of Life for Lanice will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 4 pm at the Hall Pond, 7234 N. Winans Rd., Alma. Interment will be held in Pritchard Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or charity of choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma.
