Lanora Estis, a vibrant and independent spirit, passed away on October 26, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. She was born on March 22, 1982, in Maury County to the late Paul Gibson and Margaret Runions Gibson, and her departure has left a void that can never be filled.

Lanora was a woman who possessed a remarkable ability to take charge, a quality that endeared her to many. She was passionate about the outdoors and found solace in the act of fishing, as the tranquility of nature provided her with moments of serenity. Her crafty talents knew no bounds, as she could transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, creating beautiful works of art that reflected her unique spirit.

Halloween and Christmas were Lanora's favorite holidays, as they brought the joy of family to the forefront. She treasured the moments spent with loved ones during these special occasions and made sure they were unforgettable. Her warmth and love for her family were evident in every tradition and celebration.

Lanora leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her in their hearts. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Estis, and their children: Christopher, Natalya, and J.C., who will carry on her legacy of strength and love. Lanora is also survived by her siblings: Angela (Lee) Lockridge, Candy (Troy) Adams, James (Charity) Gibson, who shared a lifetime of memories and experiences with her. Her furry companion, Rebel, will always remember the love and care she provided.

In addition to her immediate family, Lanora is survived by nieces and nephews: Terry Keith Morton, Faith Scott, Tori Adams, Shantee Adams, Troy Adams, Jr., and George Adams. Her influence reached beyond her immediate circle, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all their family and friends for their unwavering support during this challenging time. They also wish to thank those who made generous donations, the cancer center in Columbia, and Alive Hospice Nashville, as well as Dr. Scharrer, for their compassionate care.

A visitation to celebrate Lanora's life will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, TN. This will be a time to reflect on the wonderful memories Lanora created and the lasting impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her.
