Sherwin Loyd Estis was born on September 9, 1953 at Aimwell, Louisiana to the union of his parents Pat Estis and Mary Ann Aplin Estis. He passed from this life on July 18,2024 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following an extended illness.
Mr. Estis was a crane operator in the Oil and Gas Industry. He loved to build things and fabricate them through welding . He was extremely talented. He loved to hunt, but most importantly loved to spend time with his grand daughter.
Left to cherish his memory his beloved wife Deborah Rigdon Estis of Olla; his son, Patrick Estis (Heather Brouillette) of Grayson and their daughter, Aubrey Estis; two step-sons, Gary Barbo (Gayle) of Olla and their children Kimber Barbo and Allen Barbo; and Steve Barbo (Ronna) and their sons, Morgan and Britton.
Memorial services will be held at a later time.
