Larry Acker Obituary
Bro. Larry Daniel Acker, of Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his residence, having attained the age of 60 years, 5 months & 13 days. He was born on Monday, July 22, 1963, in La Grange, Indiana, the son of Orville & Margarett (Rice) Acker. He was of the Pentecostal Faith, was a faithful minister, and loved gardening outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charlie Acker, Janet Thrams, and Judy Grimes.
He is survived by his spouse, Kim (Holloway) Acker, who he wed on Monday, November 1, 2004, children, Sissy Warren, Dusty Caudill, both of Indiana, Vanessa Rhoden, Heather Nicholas, both of Monticello, Kentucky, Lance Mastin of Tennessee, siblings, Tom (& Rose) Acker of Paragould, Arkansas, Donna Moore of Michigan, grandchildren, Taci, Samual, Dustin, Jade, Sage, Aspen, Trevor Cooper, Dylan Rhoden, great-grandchildren, Rose, Leo, Alejandro, and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of New's Monticello Funeral Home, with Bro. Dallas Burton officiating. The family will receive friends after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to memorial fund c/o New's Monticello Funeral Home.
