Larry Adams

Larry Adams, age 77, of Forrest City, died Thursday, September 11, 2025, at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past several months. Larry was born May 12, 1948, in Forrest City, and was the son of John Lloyd Adams and Martha L. Gunn Adams Watson. He lived in Forrest City most of his life, retired in 2016 as an engineer for the Waxler River Boat Company, and was a martial artist. Larry is survived by his mother, Martha L. Watson of Forrest City, one daughter, Angela Jones, and husband, Allen, of Forrest City, four sons; Dustin Adams, and wife, Jessica, of Forrest City, Alex Adams, and wife, Amanda, of Colt, James Melton of Wynne, and Steven Melton, and wife, Jennifer, of Forrest City, twenty-six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home.
