Larry Robert Arbaugh, of Herndon, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 71 years of age.
Larry was born in Baltimore, MD, on December 10, 1953, to the late Robert Stanley Arbaugh and Dorothy Finn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Jo Alley Arbaugh; brothers, Alan Arbaugh, Gary Arbaugh, and Dale Arbaugh; sister, Judy Arbaugh McDonald; and grandchild, Chancelor Averitt.
Larry is survived by his sons, Jeffery Averitt, Matthew Arbaugh, and Patrick Arbaugh; daughter, Laurie Devito (Chris); brother, Rocky Arbaugh (Lynn); sister, Carolyn Stevens (Chuck); grandchildren, Devon Averitt, Aidan Devito, Alivia Arbaugh, Amelia Arbaugh, and Ansel Arbaugh; and great grandchild, Skylar Averitt.
Larry's passion was music, he loved playing the guitar and singing. He sang all the way up to the end of his life. He loved God. He was very giving, kind, and loving. If he had something and you needed it, he would give it to you. He loved his family and all his grandchildren; he always made sure they were full of candy. Everyone who knew him knew that he always had his guitar, a pick, and change in his pockets.
A Funeral Service will take place at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025, with Bro. Reed Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Burial will follow services at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Arbaugh, Chris Devito, Jeffery Averitt, Devon Averitt, Aidan Devito, Jason Henkel, and Steven Cottrell.
