Loretta Agnes (Seeley) Doyle, 82, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on November 25, 2024. Loretta was born on June 30, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to Virgil H. Seeley and Margaret June (Carr) Seeley. Loretta grew up in West Chicago, IL, and after graduating from West Chicago High School in 1960, attended Marquette University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English in 1964. That same year, Loretta married William Eugene Doyle of West Chicago, IL, and started a family. Loretta and William had four children – all boys. Loretta was a loving mother who instilled in her children a love for learning. Loretta had many interests, most of which centered upon her faith, her family, and her friends. She was a devout Roman Catholic who attended daily Mass when circumstances allowed. She read widely and participated in Bible study groups and book clubs. She travelled extensively throughout Europe with her sister, and met often with a group of high school friends (affectionately known as her "Ya-Yas"). Loretta also enjoyed needlework, quilting, and visits with her grandchildren. She was a gentle soul and will be missed.
