Larry Paul Burton, 74 of Pike Bluff Road, Ewing, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Larry was born October 3, 1949, in Fleming County, Kentucky on Licking River to the late Lucian and Audra Adams Burton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Ersie Pettit and his brother-in-law Vernon Pettit. Three brothers: Carson Burton, Phillip Burton and sister-in-law Kathleen, Marvin Burton and sister-in-law Brenda. Brother-in-law, Albert Moore and a niece Angela Burton Harris.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen Evans Burton whom he married January 25, 1969. One son, Darin Burton and his wife Doris. a grandson, Blake Burton all of Ewing. One sister, Christene Moore of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and a sister-in-law Jeanne Burton. Also, several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was of the Christian faith for 27 years.
Farming was his greatest desire and spending time with his family. 

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville, Kentucky with Brother James Ray Hickerson and Brother Randy Hawkins officiating.

Larry will be laid to rest in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Darin Burton, Blake Burton, John R. Burton, Mark Henderson, James Engle and Larry Buzzard.
