LARRY WAYNE CALDWELL of Decherd passed this life on Monday, October 13, 2025 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga at the age of 78. A native of Whitwell, TN, he was the son of the late Harbert Almerine and Hilda Naomi Meeks Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell was a plumber and electrician and was a member of Paynes Baptist Church of Estill Springs. He loved music and enjoyed singing and playing the keyboard, guitars and the bass. He also enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Dean and Clara and brothers, Clarence, Jim, David, Harold and Ronnie.

Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife, Evelyn Jeanette Caldwell; sons, Randy Caldwell and his wife, Denise and Casey Caldwell and his wife, Kayla; grandson, Paul and his wife, Melissa; granddaughters, Hannah (Steven) and Josie Tate; brothers, Bob, Herb and his wife, Joy, Kenneth and his wife, Mary Jane; sister, Alfrieda and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1 PM at Grant Funeral Services with burial to follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the service time.
