Larry Clerc Obituary

Larry was born in Bay City on July 15, 1943 to the late Ruth Jarsey and Elmer Clerc. He passed away from Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). Larry graduated from Handy High School and served in the Navy. He went on to work at Bay City Chevrolet now known as GM Powertrain where he worked for 34 years and met many life- long friends. He was a member of Local 362 UAW. Larry loved train, ships and cars and there wasn't a car lot that he didn't drive through.
He is survived by his children Susan (Mark) Rosebrock and Scott Clerc, grandchildren Brooke Rosebrock, Erika Rosebrock, great grandson Colson Duby, his sister Emma (Dave) Olson and their children. He is also survived by Brad (Jill) Lazarowicz and their children, along with caregiver/girlfriend Pam Limbaugh.
He was predeceased by Julie Lazarowicz his girlfriend of many years and by his parents.
In accordance with Larry's wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather at Rivertown Funeral Home on Friday June 14, 2024 from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to donate to the Humane Society of Bay County.
