Larry R. Cook passed away at his home in West Windsor, NJ on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was born on March 6, 1947 in Trenton, NJ and was the younger son of Charles G. Cook and Ruth Cubberley Cook.
Larry graduated from Princeton High School before joining the Air Force where he received The Air Force Commendation Metal for Meritorious Service and remained until he was Honorably Discharged on March 1, 1972 as a proud Vietnam Veteran. This is where his love for anything aeronautical grew. After his discharge he worked for Conover & Sons until he started his own business, West Windsor Small Home Repairs.
Larry developed several different interests during his life. He loved anything having to do with airplanes, including owning one. He loved classic cars and attended numerous shows where he made many friends and won several trophies with a few of his special cars. He also had boats, motorcycles and a gun collection, which he especially enjoyed, along with going to the shooting range with his family and friends. Although he will be forever missed by all, he led a long and productive life. He cared about others as seen by his being a frequent donor of platelets and bone marrow. He donated to Wounded Warriors and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital monthly. Larry was always there to lend a helping hand and babysit his furry friends anytime he was needed.
Larry was predeceased by his father, Charles G. Cook; his mother, Ruth Cubberley Hullick; his brother, Charles William Cook; his uncle, George E. Cubberley; and his cousin, James E Cubberley; he is survived by his stepdaughter, Lisa Losey (Vince) of Windsor, New Jersey, their daughter, Emily Brown (Chris) and their children, Ryan, Grace and McKenzie all of Jackson, New Jersey; his aunt, Virginia Ashmen; his cousins, Virginia Long (David) of Cape Charles, VA and their children, David II, "Del" of Cape Charles, VA, Jessica Santos (Danny) of Downey, CA, James Dixon (Hannah) and their son, Andrew, of Gold Hill, OR and Jordan (Kaitlyn) of North Rose, NY, and James' (Shirley) children, Christopher (Chrissie) and their children, Riley, Logan and Parker of Hedgeville, WV and Richard Cubberley of Virginia Beach, VA. Larry is also survived by many close friends and his former wife, Donna.
