Funeral services for Larry E. Dandridge, 76, will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Bellaire Baptist Church, 1210 Bellaire Blvd., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Randy Harper.
Larry was born on March 25, 1949 in Minden, Louisiana to Floyd and Gladys Dandridge and passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
A graduate of Minden High School, Larry went on to serve in the United States Army. He was a member of the 101st Airborne and a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star award. He was a very giving, Chrisitan man. He enjoyed working out and going to the gym.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Becky Dandridge and sister, Paulette Dandridge. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Mark Dandridge and wife, Kimberly; fiance, Theresa Reagan; grandson, Ben Bouillon and fiance, Dayana Wagner; brothers, G.B. Dandridge and Robert Dandridge and wife, Evelyn and niece, Susan Dandridge.
Honoring Larry as pallbearers will be Ricky Harper, Jackie Sparks, John Martin, Jonathan Ponder, Kevin Poole and Billy Young.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Bellaire Baptist Church, 1210 Bellaire Blvd., Bossier City, LA 71112.
