Larry Lorne Flewelling

Larry Lorne Flewelling, 72, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in Buchanan, Michigan.
Larry was born on February 5, 1952 in Windsor Canada to the late Donald Flewelling and Betty (Burdett) Flewelling.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Randolph.
Left to cherish the memory of Larry is his loving wife of many years, Patricia (Pogue) Flewelling; son, Michael (Tracy) Flewelling; daughter, Tami Flewelling; grandchildren, Evey Flewelling and Mackenzie Flewelling; sister Donna Bradfield and brother, Thomas Flewelling.
Known for his masterful woodworking skills, Larry crafted not just objects, but stories out of wood that will live on as cherished heirlooms.
Larry's love of the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for hunting and fishing. These pastimes brought him solace and joy, which he shared generously with friends and family.
An ardent supporter of the University of Michigan sports teams, Larry's spirit and loyalty never wavered. He took great pride in cheering for his teams, donning the maize and blue with an infectious enthusiasm that rallied those around him.
Larry's legacy is one of joy, craftsmanship, and unwavering support for the things he loved. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

In honor of Larry and his love for the University of Michigan sports, his family has asked that everyone wear their best blues. Go Blue!
Visitation for Larry will be on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a Funeral Service to be held at 11:00am at Brown Funeral Home, 521 East Main St. Niles, MI 49120. Burial will immediately follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, 61453 M-51, Niles, MI 49120.
