Larry Jay Fronk, 66, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by family and friends on 3/26/2025. Born in Stow, OH, Larry was a resident of Stow/Cuyahoga Falls his entire life.
He was a skilled tradesman for Frank Lucco Company until his retirement in 2018. He was also a member of the Ohio Operating Engineers Union. Larry was a sportsman like no other with a passion for hunting and fishing. He would spend much of his free time as a member of the Ten High Camp with his son, father, brother and other family and friends in Punxsutawney, PA. When he was not hunting, he could be found sport fishing on his boat on Lake Erie.
He was preceded in death by his son Joey, his mother, Margaret “Peg”, and his brother Robert “Joe”. He is survived by his son Jesse Fronk (Emily) of Cuyahoga Falls, his father, John “Jack” Fronk of Stow, stepchildren Ryan (Shannon) Tomayko of Colorado, Nicole (Micah) Tomayko of Texas. Also, grandchildren, Addison, Oliver, Jack Fronk, step-grandchildren Lydia, Elijah, Kayla, Gwenevere, JJ and Andrew. Also, Larry has many nieces, cousins and other family remaining in the area and all over the country.
Although Larry’s life was cut short, he lived life to the fullest. His family and friends will miss him deeply but the memories that were made will endure and be cherished forever. He was a loving and committed family man to his core and kept those he loved close to him until the end.
Larry requested no formal services. Family and friends are encouraged to celebrate Larry’s life in any way that brings them peace and remembers him in the same adventurous, loving, full of life way that he lived his life.
