Larry G. Gordon - age 78 of Hamilton, MO passed away Saturday morning, January 18, 2025 in North Kansas City. Larry was born on November 22, 1946, the son of Harold and Doris (Eads) Gordon in Lathrop, MO. He grew up in Lathrop and was a 1964 graduate of Lathrop High School. In addition to Lathrop, he lived in Plattsburg and San Antonio, TX, before moving to Hamilton in 2013. He had several jobs over the years. Larry worked at Heart Graphics as a book binder. He worked at Everett Quarries and drove a truck over the road. Larry was an electrician and worked in construction. He helped build the San Antonio River Walk. Larry was quiet, reserved, kind and had a heart of gold. He loved hiking, the outdoors and riding motorcycles. Larry was a car enthusiast and had a need for speed. Larry will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold L. Gordon. He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Gordon of Trenton, MO and Rachel Johnson of Hamilton, MO; grandchildren: Callista Wall (Alec) of Independence, MO, Larrimie Gordon of Austin, TX, Reynaldo Garcia of St. Joseph, MO, Gage Johnson (Chasity) of Richmond, MO, Timothy Gordon (Drew) of St. Joseph, MO, Makaylah Lynn (Wesley) of Gallatin, MO, Racheal Hoak (Joe) of Kansas City, KS, and Skyler Johnson of Hamilton, MO; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Northcare Hospice House in care of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Lathrop Cemetery in Lathrop, MO.
