Larry G. Hartle, 80, formerly of Shippenville, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.

He was born in Brookville on August 25, 1944 to the late Cletus J. and Dorothy Mae (Schrum) Hartle.

Larry is survived by his children: Larry G. (Amy) Hartle Jr. of New Hampshire and Brenda Hartle of North Carolina; one grandson, Kyle Hartle of North Carolina; sisters, Catherine Schmader of Knox, Janice (Butch) Beary of Venus, Georgene Graham of Shippenville, Anita (Ted) Wolbert of Franklin, Beverly Reinsel (Bruce) of Summerville, Janie Schmader (Joe) of Marble, Cynthia Hall of New Hampshire; one brother, Ron (Kim) Hartle of West Middlesex. He is also survived by his former wife, Jean Hartle of Sligo; step-children Randy and Lori Brown, Wanda and Jeff Hiles, and Debra Sue Watterson; 9 step- grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Dixie Hartle.

Friends and family will be received from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory Inc: 330 Wood St. Clarion, PA 16214. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Deacon Joe Glover of Immaculate Conception Parish officiating. Inurnment will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
