Larry Calvin Kerr from Butler, PA. was born September 29, 1952, died July 13, 2025 after struggling with Parkinson's for many years.
Larry was an avid runner whose many accomplishments included running in the Pittsburgh marathon. He also liked participating in senior softball and bowling with his friends.
Larry moved to southwest Pa. and worked as photographer/journalist before taking a job at the Sentinel newspaper in Central Pa where he moved with his family, and then worked at A.O.P.C. for many years where he retired because of his decline with Parkinson's. Larry then began to write short stories and had three books published.
Larry is survived by his son Randy, fiancé Sarah, in (Md) and his devoted ex-wife Carol, who still cared and tried to advocate for him when he could not in (New Cumberland),Sister Norrine in (Butler) and many cousins.
Larry is deceased by a brother, Gary Kerr, mother, Mary Kornrumph, and father, Calvin.
Carol would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Tammy, Janine, April and Sara from Conquest Compassion Care, who stayed with Larry when Carol could not be there.
