Larry Leonhardt

LARRY LEONHARDT, 78, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Baptist Health, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Louisville, Larry was a retired Tool and Die Maker and also worked in sales during his career. He was a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and June Leonhardt.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 44 years, the former Dolorita Clemons; his sons, Joe Leonhardt (Melodie) and Greg Mattingly; his daughters, Melissa Krebs (Sean) and Lisa Mattingly Dohn; his brothers, Gary Leonhardt (Barb) and Steve Leonhardt (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Scott Leonhardt, Matthew Leonhardt (Carrie), David Littlejohn (Aimee), Kathryn West (Josh), Sarah Salimbeni (Damien), Kevin Diers (Mia), Christian Diers (Morgan), Cassie Diers, and Will Dohn; and his great-grandchildren, Elijah Leonhardt, Eileen Leonhardt, Evelyn Salimbeni, Levi West, and Penelope Littlejohn.
Larry's Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Drive, Louisville, KY. Visitation will follow from 2:00–6:00 p.m. Saturday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 10600 Taylorsville Road.
Additional visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Time at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 30 St. Augustine Road, Clarkson, KY. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Central Time at St. Augustine Cemetery, Clarkson, KY.
