LARRY G. LOW, age 68, of Piqua, OH passed away at 3:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County in Troy, OH. He was born on September 27, 1955 to George Low of Piqua, OH and the late Edith (Hensley) Low. On December 18, 1993 in Piqua, Larry married Rita (Waugh) Low and she survives.
Larry is survived by one son: Nathan (Jessica) Low, Cincinnati, OH; three step-sons: Jesse (Dara) Mendez, San Diego, CA; Jose (Christina) Mendez, Piqua, OH; Julian (Sam) Mendez, Fulton, MO; one sister: Carolyn (Ron) Morgan, Piqua, OH; twelve grandchildren: Alexis Low, Eric Low, Jason Sowers, Jesse Mendez, Jr., Javier Mendez, Joseph Mendez, Julius Mendez, Jacob Millet, Jackie Millet, Jazmine Millet, Jeremiah Millet, Tesla Hamman, Mason Camper; one great-grandson: Zayden.
Larry graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1974. He worked at Hartzell Propeller in Piqua, OH for 45 years. Larry was a member of The Valley Church in Piqua, OH. He liked walking, hiking, camping, riding his motorcycle, and going to car shows. Larry loved striking up a conversation with random strangers.
Funeral services for Larry will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua, OH with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating. Burial to immediately follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, OH. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM through 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County at 3230 N. County Road 25-A, Troy, OH 45373.

When my husband and I were younger and still going to motorcycle races and events, we would sometimes see Larry there. It as always nice to see him.
