Mr. Larry McClintock, age 72, of Unionville, TN died on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Shelbyville, TN. Larry was born in Bedford County, TN and was a son of the late William “Carl” Relvis McClintock and Sarah Mae Leverette McClintock. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Larry worked in the asphalt paving business. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Peyton Allison-Hart.
Larry loved racing cars, especially on dirt tracks. He was a champion at Duck River Speedway. He loved being a mechanic and working on engines. He enjoyed lake life and running across the water, boating and enjoying the views. Most of all, he loved his family and being involved with them and spending time with their activities.
Mr. McClintock is survived by his loving children, Angie McClintock of Lewisburg, TN, Tracy (Terry) Chaney of Chapel Hill, TN, Matthew (Rachel) McClintock of Unionville, TN; 8 grandchildren, Alyssa Allison, Jordon McClintock, Bradon McClintock, Camdon McClintock, Antonio Marable, Keegan Chaney, Allayaha Cowthron, Jonathan Marable; 3 great grandchildren, Mason Davis, Jackson Grieshaber, Carson O’Brien; sisters, Judy Watson of McBurg, TN, Jan Cross of Cornersville, TN, Peggy Robertson of Chapel Hill, TN, Jennie Glover of Shelbyville, TN; brother, Jerry McClintock of Unionville, TN.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4 PM – 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Grandchilden will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Larry’s memory to the American Heart Association, 209 23rd Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37203.
