Larry Dale Nickens

Larry Dale Nickens, 47 years old of Tickfaw, Louisiana, died Friday, December 25, 2009, at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, July 11, 1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana, son of Margie Rogers Nickens and the late Millard Nickens, Jr. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jo Anne N. and Thomas Addison, and Priscilla and John Curtis; a niece, Ashley Traylor; and a nephew, Joseph Locicero. He is preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Locicero Nickens. Friends will be received Monday, December 28, 2009, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, from 6 - 9 p.m., and after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, until 10 a.m. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, at 10 a.m., with Dr. Rodney Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Pumpkin Center, Louisiana. Contributions may be made to the North Oaks Hospice.
