Larry Oakum Obituary
Born on November 8, 1946, in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late George and Ida Oakum.
He grew up in New Jersey, and lived briefly in Upstate New York. He has made Naples, Florida his home for the last 34 years. He was honorably discharged from the Army after serving in Germany.
He married his wife Vicki on July 23, 1966 and would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this July.
He is survived by his wife Vicki; daughter Debbie and her husband Mike; son Larry and his wife Sarah; grandchildren Hannah, Aiden and Madison; and brother Kevin. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Debbie.
Larry and his family have decided there will not be any services.

Larry, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
