Larry A. Reigel, 73, of Pittsville, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the care of Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Pittsville with Rev. Leo Raphael officiating. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 6 at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville and from 10:00 am until the time of service on Thursday at church. A Knights of Columbus rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Larry was born September 13, 1951 in Marshfield, WI to LaVern and Erma (Schumacher) Reigel. He graduated from Wausau High School in 1969. He worked the majority of his life as a dairy farmer. Larry married Sandra (Hable) March 21, 1981 at St. Joachim in Pittsville, WI.

Larry farmed for over 40 years. He loved riding around the farm on his skid steer, mower, and four wheeler. He enjoyed collecting the occasional toy tractor. He was always there and willing to help his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Reigel, daughter, Elizabeth (Benjamin) Nowak of Marshfield, siblings, Vickie Reigel of Florida, Kay (Philip) Kostka, and Allen (Mary) Reigel both of Kronenwetter, and his precious pets, Lexi and Garfield. He is further survived by aunts and uncles, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Rolinda Reigel, Joy Kraus, and Renee Haroldson, and his in-laws, Joseph and Elizabeth Hable and James Hable.
