Robert "Bob" Reigel passed away suddenly on June 27, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born in Bethel, Maine, Bob was the beloved son of the late James Henry Reigel and Mable Joyce Hoarm-Reigel. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Gerald Scott Reigel and Richard Reigel.
Bob was a man of deep faith who lived each day guided by his love for the Lord and Savior. Rarely seen without his Bible, Bob's faith was central to his life. He earned his Master's Degree in Theology from Tabernacle Baptist and was a passionate student and speaker of the Hebrew language.
In addition to his theological pursuits, Bob was an avid reader and lifelong sports fan. He proudly supported the Washington Commanders and was a devoted follower of the New York Yankees. Known to many for always having a Bible in one hand and a Dr Pepper in the other, Bob brought joy and inspiration to those around him.
He is survived by his three brothers: James Reigel (wife Mary), Kenneth Reigel, and Michael Reigel, all of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is also survived by his three sisters: Cynthia O'Neal of Honea Path, South Carolina, Susie Everette of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Barbara Bostwick (husband Bruce) of Salem, Ohio. Bob is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on August 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the following address: 3804 Whitley Abbey Court, Virginia Beach, VA
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express condolences may donate in Bob's memory to a charity of their choice.
Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His unwavering faith, kind heart, and warm presence will live on in our hearts.
