Larry Rodriguez Obituary
Larry Milton Rodriguez, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the age of 62. Mr. Rodriguez was a proud patriot and served in the United States Army during the Desert Storm Operation. He was a devout Christian and took great joy in going to Church 213 with his son, Michael. Mr. Rodriguez loved spending time outdoors, reeling in the fish on his lines, and going to the beach. Additionally, he stayed on the edge of his seat while enjoying football and baseball games, as well as NASCAR races. Mr. Rodriguez was a hero to his beloved family and adored his children immensely. He was inseparable from his loving wife, Maggie, and cherished every moment they spent together. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his son, Chris Nelson; and mother, Melba Kaye Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Maggie Rose Rodriguez; daughters, Ashley Hernandez, Alexis Rodriguez, Jessica Link (Shane); sons, Michael Rodriguez, David Nelson (Amy); father, Juan Antonio Rodriguez; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosa Wade (Greg), Susie McDowell, Janice Owen (George), Margie Colquitt (Barnie); and brothers, John Rodriguez (Wendy), Robert Rodriguez, Danny Gallway.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Rodriguez will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Ryan Wyatt officiating.
