Born January 25, 1950 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Anthony and Eva Rita (Spitnagl) Schneider.
He had been a life resident of Clark and Washington Counties and graduated from Henryville High School, before taking a job with Progress Paints, retiring after 21 years. He also drove a gas truck for a local utility company.
On August 7, 1976, he married Debra Jean (Walker) Schnieder, who passed away September 21, 2023.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Glenn Anthony Schneider and Henry (Butch) Schneider and a nephew, Mike Schneider.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
