Larry Lee Schuler, 76, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on December 27, 1948, in Richmond, Indiana to Glendon and Mabel (Shubert) Schuler. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and went on to earn his master's degree from Ball State University. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a teacher at Lapel High School where he was also a coach.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved going to Scampy's. He enjoyed helping others and traveling to Michigan. He loved to cook and was an avid sports fan.
Larry is survived by four children, Stasia Davis of Noblesville, Jaemala (husband, Matt) Smith of Greenfield, Matthew (wife Stephanie) Schuler of Noblesville and Eric Schuler of Anderson; five grandchildren, Alesea Fritz, Parker Davis, Jaxson Davis, Adam Smith and Harlan Schuler; a brother, Paul Schuler of Florida; a sister, Debbie Reed of Connersville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Barbara "Barbie" (Dongvillo) Schuler and his parents.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051. Cremation will take place with burial at North Shore Memorial Gardens in Coloma, Michigan at a later date.
