Larry Joe Stevenson, 68, Mooresville, passed away May 16, 2024, at The Gathering Together in Plainfield. Larry was born September 7, 1955, in Indianapolis, to the late Thomas Ray and Myrtle (Reed) Stevenson.
Larry graduated from Mooresville High School in 1973 and was a lifelong farmer, along with his late parents and son, in Madison Township. Larry was baptized at Mt. Gilead Church and recently attended Harvest House International Church. Larry served on the Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department for many years and was also a past chief. Larry will be fondly remembered by a loving family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle D. Wright.
Survivors include one son, Tom Stevenson; grandchildren, Tristan, Bayliegh, Jordan Blondell, and Hunter Dawson.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the funeral home, with burial following in West Newton Cemetery.
