Laura G. Hash, 89, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, in Hutchinson, KS. Laura was born on September 9, 1934, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Dale and Bernice (Hines) McCoy.
She graduated from Hutchinson High School, Class of 1952. She also graduated from Hutchinson Junior College and Wichita Tech School. On August 30, 1953, Laura married Harold Hash in Roswell, NM. He died on February 4, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold, and brother, Gary McCoy.
Laura is survived by daughter, Brenda (Donald) Hauschild of Park City, IL; son, Randal (Janeen Basye) Hash of Hutchinson, KS; brother, Martin McCoy of Hutchinson, KS; sister, Sandra Enslinger of Bartlesville, OK; grandchildren, Valerie (Eric) Bean, Chad (Kim) Hauschild, Jenifer (Matt Monk) Blythe all from Illinois, Brandi Henderson of Lincoln, NE, and Michelle (Tim Traylor) Henderson of Hutchinson; great grandchildren, Jonathon (Sarah) Williams, Abigail Hauschild, Justus Henderson, Destiny Burns, Aryonna Burns, Felicity Henderson, Daxton and Easton Traylor; great- great grandchildren, Lochlan, Bellamy and Jolene; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Laura's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2024, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Guy Hanna officiating. There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen. Inurnment will take place in the Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, KS. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
