Laurie Moore (Bell, Johnson) passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who had a tough outer shell but once broken through had immense warmth and kindness that touched the lives of many. She was born March 6th 1967 in Saginaw MI, to the late Joseph and Judi Moore.

Laurie was a devoted mother to her three children: Joshua Johnson, Taylor Johnson, and Tanner Johnson. Her love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life. She adored her four grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her heart.

Laurie's legacy is one of love, resilience, and generosity. Her family and friends will forever remember her bright smile, her infectious laughter, and her ability to find humor in the simplest of moments. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Laurie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her

Colleagues remember her as a tough yet fair leader who always had a joke ready to lighten the mood. Laurie's dedication extended beyond her family to her career, where she was known for her commitment to helping others. Her resilience in the face of challenges was an inspiration to many, demonstrating her strength and determination to make a positive impact in the world.

Laurie's journey through life was one that only could be handled with the strength she had.. Her sense of humor was infectious, bringing joy and laughter to family gatherings and community events alike. She had an innate ability to find light in the darkest of times, a quality that endeared her to all who knew her. Laurie's faith was a guiding force in her life, providing her with strength and comfort. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love of the Lord.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joshua Johnson, Taylor Johnson, and Tanner Johnson; brothers, Rick Moore and Joe Moore; grandchildren, Kelsie Johnson, Mason Johnson, Lucas Guy Johnson, and Karson Peckham.

In honoring Laurie's memory, her family invites those who knew her to celebrate her life and the wonderful memories she created. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, and her memory will be cherished forever.

Family and Friends will gather for visitation on Saturday December 14, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Steve Black officiating.
