Laurie Ann Revesz (Allen), age 58 years, passed away Monday evening, November 10, 2025 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, following a brief illness. She was born on July 11, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Arnold and Sally (Shaffer) Allen. Laurie has diligently dealt with her health issues over the last few years, always keeping a positive attitude. She enjoyed singing, baking, shopping, playing BINGO and gambling, especially scratch-offs. Laurie loved her fur-babies, they kept each other company daily – singing and laughing together. She was a proud single mother, raising her girls, Becky & Rachel – they were her world! Laurie is finally at peace now – singing duets from heaven with her mother and sister.
Surviving family include her daughters, Becky Revesz and Rachel Revesz; father, Arnold Allen; nephew, Mike Allen; niece, Kristin (Nick) Brown; great-nephew, Peyton Allen; aunt, Cathy Scott & her family as well as her fur-babies, Simba, Stella, Ellie and Teddy. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Allen; sister, Lisa Allen and Brother, Arnie Allen.
A memorial service is planned for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 149 N. Main St. in Vassar. The Rev. Keith Knea will officiate. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the wishes of the family.
