Lawrence M. Livingston

Lawrence M. Livingston, age 65, of Hellam, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on November 19, 2025. He was the loving husband of Caron M. (Fleming) Livingston; together they shared 37 years of marriage.
Larry was born in Secane, PA on May 28, 1960 to Robert and Mary (McStravog) Livingston. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1978. He earned numerous accolades for his accomplishments in cross country and track and field and received a full athletic scholarship to St. Joseph's University. He graduated in 1982 with a B.S. degree in food marketing.
Larry worked as a food buyer starting at Fleming Foods in Wichita, KS and worked his way through the food industry, ultimately landing in York, PA where he worked for McCory's as a candy buyer and worked in food production at Dawn Foods. Most recently, he worked part time for his brother-in-law, Matt, at Artisan Door Works in Morgantown, PA. Larry was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers fan and was a Lancaster and York history buff.
In addition to his loving wife Caron, Larry is survived by his son Matthew Livingston; his granddaughter Sofie Livingston; his siblings Karen Jennings and husband Bill; Patricia Courtney and husband Matthew; Michael Livingston and wife Jennifer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, Larry leaves behind his long time friend, Todd Cave. Larry was preceded in death by his brothers Bobby Livingston and Mark Livingston.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Larry's life will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 2:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, 3670 E. Market St., York, PA 17402. Interment will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 1:00PM – 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
