Israel Burgard

Israel "Breakin' Biz" Burgard took off for his eternal trip to paradise on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was 53 years old.
Israel was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather. Known as Izzy by friends and family, as Dad by Courtney (Seidel) and Addison, as Grandpa by Tucker, and as the fun uncle by his nieces and nephews.
Izzy was also known as a tinkerer and inventor. He could always be found in the garage, working on his Burgard A-Arms, fixing a broken machine, or bringing an idea to life.
He was a quick-witted jokester with a wild side. Izzy could just as easily drive you nuts, as he could make you laugh until you cried. He had a big heart and infectious smile. He welcomed folks from all walks of life and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Those who knew Izzy surely have a crazy story or two to share.
Izzy lived life to the fullest. He grew up racing motocross and fixing hot rods with his dad. He later built his own motocross track at his home in Spring Grove, and took pride in his garage projects.
Israel will be deeply missed by his wife Michelle, his son, Addison, and his grandson, Tucker. He is survived by his mother, Maureen Burgard, sisters Tracy Lease (Steven) and Liberty O'Donnell (Jerry). He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen, and his daughter, Courtney.
A memorial service in celebration of Izzy's life will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2025, at 6:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove, PA 17362, with Pastor Randy Strode officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-6:00PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the donations can be made to The Special Olympics Pennsylvania, Team Adams.
