Lawrence Maestas'S

Lawrence Maestas, Capulin resident passed away peacefully on October 2nd 2025 at his home in Capulin, Colorado at the age of 72. Lawrence was born on June 5th 1953 in Capulin Colorado, to Esquipula Maestas & Domitila Martinez. Lawrence was always a hard-working man and was always there for everyone. He was known for his keen sense of humor and vitality. He lived in Denver Colorado for 30+ years and worked as a machinist for Ico-O-Matic. His greatest joy was to go the casino, play bingo, cruising his 55 Chevy pick-up truck and scratching lottery tickets which is what he was doing when he passed away. Lawrence leaves behind his daughter Decima Maestas, son Lonnie Maez, sister Delma Ramirez, nephews, nieces, and many other relatives & friends. Along with his parents waiting for him in heaven are his brother Arthur (Tudy), sisters, Lucy Oritz and Judy Vargas.
Viewing will be at 9:30 -10:30am followed by a rosary at 10:30 and a Christian Bural at 11:00 at St Joseph's church in Capulin Colorado, on October 10th 2025. Interment will follow at the Capulin Cemetery. Romero Valley Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
