Lawrence L. "Larry" Malcuit, 79, of Fredericksburg, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Larry was born on July 26, 1945 in Millersburg to Lloyd Charles and Bertha Mary (Stutz) Malcuit and was a 1963 graduate of Waynedale High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 – 1967 having served in Germany and had worked at Walter Jones Construction for several years. For most of his life, Larry farmed and worked on the family farm. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was an avid hunter.
Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Beatrice Colopy of Howard, OH, Robert and his wife Mary Ann Malcuit of Granville, OH, Bernard and his wife Pamela Malcuit of Montgomery, TX and Mary and her husband Richard Jameson of Shaker Heights, OH; several nieces and nephews and his Godson, Dean Wolbodlt and family of Holmesville and his Goddaughter, Josie Botha and family of Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Malcuit.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster with burial following at St. Genevieve Cemetery at Calmoutier. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
