Lawrence Miller, 70, of Iota, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 13, 1955, Lawerence spent much of his life enjoying the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and loved collecting rocks and fossils near his home in the mountains of Utah.
In time, he chose to return to Louisiana to spend his final days surrounded by his children and grandchildren, where he found comfort and peace with his family.
He was known as someone who would give the shirt off his back and lend a hand when it was needed.
He is survived by his children, Ross Miller (Jessica) and Selena Comeaux (Ryan), and his grandchildren Elliott, Grayson, Hudson, Landon, Austin, Lily, and Ember, as well as his nine siblings — three brothers and six sisters — and many relatives and friends who cared for him. He is preceded in death by parents and six siblings.
The family thanks everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
