Angela "Angel" Christina Todaro Pontiff, born on March 5, 1964, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in her hometown on October 13, 2025. She brought light and laughter to everyone around her with her love for collecting dolls, watching funny shows and her creative art.
Angela had a wonderful ability to make everyone laugh, a trait she cherished while laughing with her family and friends. She was a dedicated mother to her children: Corey Calhoun, Daniel Calhoun (Lauren), Ashley Cruise (Nick), and Colin Pontiff. Angela was also a proud grandmother, leaving behind Zoe, Jorden, Lincoln, Henry, and Wyatt who will carry on her spirit of joy.
In her life she shared many meaningful moments with her significant other, Michael Sanchez, and her late husband, Mark Pontiff. Angela is remembered fondly by her step-father, Larry W. Stoker (Nettie), and her siblings: Julie Todaro, Susan Feliciana (Joe), Regina Dragon (David), and Deana Gaconi (Mike). She was a cherished aunt to her 12 nieces and nephews and enjoyed the joy of 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Angela joins her beloved father, Anthony Todaro, her mother, Diane T. Stoker, her late husband, Mark Pontiff, and her sister, Donna Todaro, in eternal rest.
Angela's legacy of laughter and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Angela lived up to her name- she truly was an angel on earth and now she is an angel in heaven
