Lawrence (Joe) Myers was born on April 14th, 1959 in Rolla, ND to Steve and Ann Myers. He attended school in Belcourt, ND and eventually met his wife, Margaret, in Perham, MN. They married on September 18th, 1992 in Forman, ND and made their permanent residence in Frazee, MN.
Joe was employed as a truck driver and enjoyed his weekends at the lake with his family and friends. He had a passion for camping, fishing, and making memories with friends while gathering at various lake houses.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Myers; his siblings, John Taylor of Washington state, Dorothy Myers of Belcourt, ND, Karen Ault of Andover, MN, Joy Keplin of Belcourt, ND, Sandra Houle of Dunseith, ND, Anna Myers Houle of Belcourt, ND; his step-son, Joseph (Shari) Kantrud; and granddaughter, Frances of Frazee, MN; step-son, Craig (Sara) Kantrud; Lillah and Bentley of South Dakota; step-son, Kerwin (Tracey Lynn) Kantrud of Florida; his faithful, four-legged companion, Marley; and many other honorable friends and loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Ann Myers; sisters, Shirley, Belinda, and Brenda; brothers, Steve and Chalmer; and other relatives as well.
There are no plans for formal services locally. A private burial will take place in Belcourt, ND.
